Details:
Under the direction of the Collections Foreman, an Equipment Operator inspects the City’s wastewater collection system and
performs cleaning, preventative maintenance, and repairs on collections system.
Qualifications:
Completion of secondary education (high school diploma or GED equivalent); one (1) year
prior experience, or equivalent preferred; demonstrable ability to understand system of
mechanical and technical procedures, maintain accurate records, and perform manual
labor; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the
required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Comments:
Must possess or have the ability to obtain (within 1 year) a OEPA Wastewater Class I Operator’s License or OEPA.
Collections Class I License and a valid Commercial Driver’s License with appropriate endorsements; must remain insurable under the City’s vehicle insurance policy.
