Veolia is currently seeking a licensed Ohio Water Reclamation Operator to join our dedicated team at the City of Springboro's water reclamation facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a vital role in maintaining and operating our modern water treatment infrastructure while making a positive impact on the community by ensuring the delivery of safe and reliable water services.
In this position, you will report directly to the Project Leader and work in close collaboration with the Deputy Leader (ORC). Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of plant operations, including laboratory testing, regulatory compliance, and detailed reporting to ensure our facilities meet all environmental standards.
Our facility features a 4.0 MGD sequencing batch reactor plant that was commissioned in 2006, along with 10 lift stations strategically located throughout the system. The plant utilizes a centrifuge for sludge dewatering, and operators are responsible for transporting the dewatered material to a local landfill. To support this aspect of the role, the successful candidate must be able to obtain a Class B CDL, with comprehensive training provided.
The position also involves supporting our extensive collection system, which consists of approximately 75 miles of sewer lines. Operators may be called upon to assist the maintenance crew during yearly sewer cleaning operations, ensuring the entire system operates efficiently and reliably.
