Definition:
Under general direction, is responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of the work projects in the Power Distribution Section within the Division of Power; performs related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of the twelfth school grade and six (6) years of experience performing fully-skilled work in electrical power distribution including two (2) years of supervisory or administrative experience in the same field. Substitution(s): A certificate of high school equivalence (GED) will be accepted in lieu of the twelfth school grade requirement. Significant coursework related to mechanical or electrical engineering may be substituted for up to two years of the required non-supervisory/non-administrative experience on a year-for-year basis (18 semester hours/ 27 quarter hours equals one (1) year).
Possession of a valid driver’s license.

The examination process will consist of a multiple-choice / forced-choice Experience Evaluation exam weighted 100%.
Approved applicants will be notified by mail/email of their scheduled test date and time.
All applicants must complete all phases of the testing process in order to receive a final score. The names of all candidates who pass this examination will remain on the eligible list for two years, unless the eligible list is replaced prior to or extended beyond the two years. If a candidate's name is certified and the candidate is to be considered for employment, the hiring process will include one or more interviews, a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug test.
