Objectives
Individual is responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repairs of the DCRSD’s mechanical equipment, electrical systems including electrical power equipment, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) communication network and controls, and facilities as required to provide continued operations. In addition, the individual also offers support to engineering as necessary and manages staff. Individual reports to the Operations Superintendent.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in environmental, chemical, or civil engineering or a physical or natural science plus five (5) years’ experience in maintenance, construction, inspection, and/or operation activities in public or critical infrastructure, at least two (2) of which must be in a leadership role OR any combination of equivalent education and experience.
Must possess an Ohio EPA Class II Wastewater Collection System Operator Certification OR an Ohio EPA Class II Wastewater Operator Certificate OR the ability to obtain within 2 years.
Employee must have a valid driver’s license, and an acceptable driving record.
Must meet and maintain qualifications for driving on County business at all times, including insurability.
All required licenses and certificates must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
