The City of Galion is seeking a Wastewater Plant Assistant Superintendent for our Class III Wastewater Treatment Plant.
This exempt, unclassified position is responsible for assisting the superintendent in overseeing and directing operation of the wastewater treatment plant and its staff. In addition, the candidate will manage the industrial pretreatment and MS4 programs and serve as the backup operator of record with the Ohio EPA.
Per ordinance 2023-12, salary range is $37,921 - $100,486. Full benefits package is also included.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and strong mechanical knowledge are required, along with a Class III Wastewater/Water Reclamation license and supervisory experience. A Class II license will be considered if eligible for a Class III; a Class III will be required within 6 months of employment.
