The City of Miamisburg is hiring for the position of Operator III for the Wastewater Reclamation Facility. This position provides a variety of routine, complex, skilled and technical work in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the Water Reclamation Facility. Actively supports and upholds the City’s stated mission and values. Some weekend and holiday work required.



Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.); and
• Possess a valid Ohio driver’s license*; and
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in in water reclamation and/or sanitary sewer collection system operations and/or maintenance as determined by the department director or designee; and
• Possess an Ohio EPA Class III Wastewater Works Operator license as determined by the department director or designee*; and
• Possess through knowledge of equipment, facilities, materials, methods, regulations and procedures used in facility operations and maintenance; and
• Be able to interpret specific chemical and biological analyses; and
• Be able to keep accurate and detailed records; and
• Be able to lead and supervise employees; and
• Must be able to respond within a reasonable amount of time to emergencies and fulfill physical demands of the position; and
• Must be able and willing to work extended hours and demonstrate a work history of reliable attendance and overtime response.
*Licensures must be maintained over the course of employment as a condition of employment within this classification.



Comments:
Compensation & Benefits
The 2024 hourly range for the position is $27.5980 – $31.8014, DOQ with an excellent benefits package, including paid leave time.
