Amazon is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join the Treasury Business Partner team, which works directly with business and finance groups to deliver banking services, payment products, and financing solutions. This role will primarily support our AWS, Devices and Digital organizations, working as a strategic Treasury advisor to help teams achieve business goals. You will actively follow the Treasury, banking, and capital markets industries and develop innovative solutions that delight customers.

This position requires a self-starter who collaborates well with internal and external stakeholders of various levels and backgrounds, is comfortable with ambiguity, and can balance multiple priorities. The role necessitates broad cross-functional partnerships with our business, finance, legal, accounting, and tax teams on global initiatives. The candidate should be knowledgeable in cash management solutions, banking products and services, liquidity management, payments and the current Treasury system landscape. Candidates must have the ability to think big and deliver solutions that scale for Amazon by effectively influencing business partners and driving collaboration across a diverse set of stakeholders. Excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to anticipate, identify, and communicate risks and recommendations to Treasury and business leadership is required. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record dealing with complexity and have experience in a global Treasury organization in a cash management or project management capacity.

Position location in Seattle or New York City dependent on candidate experience and proximity to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- An MBA or MS in Finance, Economics or a related field.
- CTP and/or CFA.
- International Treasury experience at a multinational corporation.
- Knowledge of US and international corporate banking products and services, payment instruments, and payment/clearing systems.
- Experience monitoring, measuring, and mitigating credit risk, foreign exchange, and other financial exposures.
- Experience in either capital markets or asset securitization.
- Knowledge of Treasury controllership standard procedures, frameworks, and tools.
- Advanced Excel, financial modelling, and analytical skills.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners as needed.
- Ability to drive automation, simplify processes, and clearly document procedures.
- An ownership mentality; willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
