JOB OBJECTIVES:
Incumbent is responsible for installation, repair, maintenance, inventory, condition rating and expansion of the Departments Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA), including operation & maintenance documentation for all facilities and associated equipment.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
Work with SCADA Supervisor maintaining a SCADA System and associated equipment. Through consultation with PCWR staff, establish requirements for information to be obtained through the SCADA System as may be needed by other Divisions in support of their mission. Generate reports concerning facilities and associated equipment as may be required by other Divisions in support of their mission as required by Supervisor. Maintain and disseminate all documents pertaining to the deployment and maintenance of the SCADA System. Perform testing and programming as required to establish and maintain operational suitability of the SCADA System. In cooperation with the SCADA Supervisor develop and forecast replacement budgets for all existing SCADA facilities. Develop, research, compose, edit, and update SCADA System. Maintain Department's asset inventory and condition records including asset useful life and replacement value for the SCADA System. Ability to be on call 24 hours/7 days as necessary. Prepare special reports for the SCADA Supervisor as required.



Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology or related degree is required and two (2) years of experience in water resource practices or a combination of education and experience which is acceptable to PCWR. Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and maintain continuing eligibility under the existing County driver eligibility standards.
