The Village of East Palestine is accepting applications for the position of Water and Wastewater Superintendent. This position is an advanced operator position with the incumbent responsible for operating the Village Water and Wastewater Plants. Work performed under the general supervision of the Village Manager with the employee expected to work independently and exercise discretion in making routine plant operating decisions.

Qualified candidates must possess experience or training which indicates a mechanical aptitude and ability to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment. Preferred Candidates should possess at least a Class II Wastewater Operators License, with Class III preferred, and preferably a Class I Water Supply Operators License issued by Ohio EPA.

This position is a full-time position with a salary that shall be dependent on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.
