Boomi Environmental LLC (Boomi) is expanding and has an exceptional opportunity for a Civil/Environmental engineer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our newly established Cleveland (OH) office and work on projects in “One Water” practice. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented and will work towards expansion of this office and strengthen Boomi’s presence in the Great Lakes region.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Lead/support the development of hydraulic and hydrologic modelling methodologies and green and grey infrastructure implementation strategies for flood mitigation and water quality improvement projects
• Demonstrate creativity and teamwork to support large, multi-disciplined projects
• Work with project managers on project schedules, budgets, and workplans, to complete projects on time and within budget




Qualifications:
Qualifications and Skills
Specific requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Undergraduate degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with 3+ years of experience (or post-graduates with 2+ years of experience)
• Direct experience in the Water/Wastewater Conveyance and Treatment/Stormwater is required, preferably in the Great Lakes region
• Ohio Civil or Environmental PE license, or the ability to obtain one within 1-2 years
• Proficiency and prior direct experience with some tools such as EPA SWMM, InfoWorks ICM, MIKE URBAN, HEC-HMS/RAS, ADCIRC, HSPF, and other Hydrodynamic/Water Quality models

Additional Details
Full-time regular. Work location in Cleveland with periodic travel throughout the Great Lakes region and occasional travel to the headquarters in NJ or NYC offices. Salary is commensurate with experience. Boomi offers generous paid time off, 401(k), and health/dental/vision benefits.
