The City of Norway is currently accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Candidates must be flexible, open-minded, work well with people and have the capacity to multi-task while working independently in a fast-paced environment and work with chemicals and lab work. Must also be willing to work on call and weekend shifts. Residency preferred. Qualifications:
Ability to operate various equipment, Class D EGLE Wastewater Treatment License, and a Class B CDL required. A Degree in Wastewater Resource Management, Two (2) years of experience in wastewater utility, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
