Boomi Environmental LLC (Boomi) has an exceptional opportunity for a Civil/Environmental engineer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our newly established Cleveland (OH) office and lead projects in “One Water” practice. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and project management experience with municipalities, preferably in the Great Lakes region. This is a rewarding position for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented professional interested in growing into employee-ownership, in a small yet rapidly growing innovative environmental firm. Experienced individuals at the level of practice leaders can be considered for immediate ownership potential.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Serve as liaison for municipalities and state/regional government clients in the Great Lakes region;
• Plan, organize, and direct project(s): including, the overall health and safety, budget, schedule, and quality of outcomes/deliverables for the clients;
• Manage multiple project and proposal efforts, in coordination with the New York City (NYC) and New Jersey (NJ) offices, to maintain effective staff utilization and profitability;
• Provide expert knowledge in one or more of the following service areas: hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for water and wastewater conveyance, hydrodynamic and water quality assessments, climate resiliency, green/gray infrastructure planning, design, and implementation strategies, treatment and beneficial use of gray and wastewater, and construction management; and
• Demonstrate creativity and foresight in anticipating and solving problems in large, multi-disciplined projects.



Qualifications:
Specific requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Post-graduate degree is preferred, a Bachelors degree may be considered for candidates with extensive professional experience;
• 5+ years of direct experience in the water industry, especially with regional and local clients in the Great Lakes region;
• Ohio Civil or Environmental PE license, or the ability to obtain within 4 months through reciprocity; and
• Proficiency in terms of innovative methods, tools, and designs in one or more of service areas listed above.



Comments:
Full-time regular. Work location in Cleveland with periodic travel throughout the Great Lakes region and occasional travel to the headquarters in NJ or NYC offices. Salary is commensurate with experience and expertise. Boomi offers generous paid time off, 401(k), and health/dental/vision benefits.
