The Logan County Sewer District is growing to better serve our customers! In addition to significantly expanding our service area in the coming months to include additional areas we are planning for significant capital replacement and improvement projects in the Indian Lake area. To carry out these plans the Logan County Sewer District is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Project Manager. This multi-faceted position entails the oversight of the Sewer District's capital projects, administration of the District's Construction Standards, review of site plan submittals, and the supervision and oversight of the Field Services group. Field Services personnel are responsible for marking the location of Sewer District assets, the creation of new and editing of existing assets in the Sewer District's GIS, coordinating improvements in GIS with a 3rd party service provider, performing inspections of sanitary sewer taps and the construction of sanitary sewers on private property.

Qualifications:
Prior experience in one or more of the following areas is required: sanitary sewer construction, rehabilitation, operation, maintenance, and/or use of Geographic Information System (GIS). The selected individual must possess, or obtain within 36 months of hire, an Ohio EPA Collection Operator II. Other requirements include possession of a valid Ohio Driver License with a clean driving record, pass a drug screen and meet the physical requirements of the position that include a mix of office and field work.

Comments:
The Project Manager will meet regularly with District staff, engineers, contractors, and customers to facilitate development and coordinate any work that involves the sanitary sewer system. Annual wage range for this position is $63,000 to $69,800 depending on qualifications and Ohio EPA licensing level. Logan County provides an excellent benefits package that includes 2 weeks of vacation after the 1st year and regular increases thereafter based on years of service, sick leave, health insurance with a prescription drug plan, optional supplemental (vision/dental) insurance and a pension program through the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System. Candidates with prior OPERS service credit may qualify to earn annual vacation time at a higher rate.
