The City of Perry is seeking an experienced project facilitator and problem solver to join the City as the Supt. of the Department of Public Works, a salary position. The Candidate would need to be able to plan, organize, direct and supervise operation of the City’s public works to maintain the quality and safety of the City’s infrastructure; develop policies and procedures with City Administration to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of infrastructure; develop and administer annual department budget; direct & supervise assignments to department staff; have experience with drinking water & sanitary sewer infrastructure systems & regulations and road maintenance. Also, have superior verbal & written communication skills, able to plan projects & delegate efficiently and manage paperwork effectively.
