The City of Saline is accepting applications for a full-time Superintendent of Water Production and Wastewater Treatment to supervise and participate in the operation and maintenance of the City’s Pollution Control and Water Production Facilities, including treatment and laboratory analysis of wastewater, operation of pump and lift substations, and inspecting and maintaining water production areas. Responsible for proper maintenance of equipment, as well as recommending and overseeing physical plant improvements. Assists with preparation of engineering plans and specifications. Develops and monitors annual budget, department policies and procedures. Recruits, trains, motivates, counsels, and disciplines department employees.



Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred. This position requires a Class A Wastewater, D-2 Water, S-2 Water Distribution license, and Michigan EGLE certification.



Comments:
