The Lake County Department of Utilities is accepting applications for the position of Full Time Engineering Inspector. Applicants must have a High School diploma or GED, a valid Ohio Driver’s license with a safe driving record. This position is responsible for a broad range of duties associated with project inspection, including, conducting field inspections, observing the construction and progress of water and wastewater projects, maintaining records, logs and daily progress reports, developing familiarity with departmental rules, regulations, specifications and safety standards, reviewing drawings and prints, utilizing tools and instruments and exhibiting strong skills in verbal and written communication. Applicants should exercise basic judgement and time management skills, encompass analytical thinking, and provide customer service in a professional fashion.
