The City of Piqua is accepting applications for an Industrial Pre-Treatment Coordinator in the Wastewater Department. Candidate will study and assign industrial categories based on EPA guidelines; administer questionnaire to industries to determine operating characteristics and water use/discharge pre-treatment information. Prepares industrial wastewater discharge permits within parameters for formal issuance by wastewater Superintendent; Oversees sludge management programs; Operates and programs personal computer to enter and analyze plant operational data.



Qualifications:

Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license; must meet the requirements for being insured by the City's insurance provider; Certified Industrial Pre-treatment program as required by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (O E PA); Class III Ohio Wastewater Operator's license preferred; however, applicants with less than an Operator III license will be considered, but must have the ability to obtain Class III license within two (2) years of appointment.
