Under the general supervision of the Wastewater Superintendent, is responsible for supervising all of the operating employees and is responsible for the installation and repair of wastewater treatment plant machinery, pumps and equipment; performs related tasks, as required.



Qualifications:

Applicants must have high school diploma or G.E.D. Possession of an Ohio Class B CDL driver’s license. Must have a valid Ohio Class II Wastewater Plant Operator’s license. Must be able to obtain an Ohio Class III Wastewater Plant Operator’s license within 4 years after appointment.

Copies of Ohio Class II Wastewater Plant Operator’s License and valid Driver’s License must be provided at the time of filing application. Starting wage for this full time permanent jog is $20.372/hour. This is a Union position with benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, retirement plan, vacation and sick time along with the opportunity to earn paid time off, and the possibility of future advancement.
