Water Maintenance Worker - EXAM
The City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Water Maintenance Worker. To apply, you must first take the open competitive examination. Applications must be submitted to the Civil Service Commission by applying on-line at www.csc.columbus.gov by 1/24/2020. Applicant tracking is now managed by NEOGOV. If you do not already have a profile in NEOGOV, you will have to set up a new one in NEOGOV before you can submit an application.
This position is responsible for installing and maintaining water distribution lines, valves, and hydrants. To qualify you must have two (2) years of experience in construction, water distribution maintenance, or other underground utility maintenance and by the end of the probationary period you must possess a valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement. Possession of a valid drivers license is required.
Salary $42,452.80 - $57,262.40.
