This position is perfect for mid-level employees/managers looking to elevate their careers through involvement in high profile projects. As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:

Serving as a task lead for civil, conveyance and water/wastewater treatment projects.

Planning, developing, coordinating, and directing tasks on a larger project or a number of small projects/tasks.

Developing or managing the development of design reports, design plans and project specifications. Assisting in construction administration tasks such as review of contractor submittals, RFIs, etc.

Coordinating and reviewing the work of a staff of engineers, estimating manpower needs, and scheduling and assigning work to meet completion date.

May also include limited field work for facility inspection and construction.

Actively participating or assisting in new business development.

This role will require strong teamwork with staff in our local offices and various engineering disciplines in other offices.



Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental or chemical engineering. Professional engineering (PE) license. Experience: 7-15 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to independently evaluate, select and apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria.

Experience with design, permitting and construction of various water/wastewater facilities as well as site/civil projects is preferred.

Developed communications skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Experience working with construction drawings and specifications.

Experience with ArcGIS is a plus.

Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or AutoCAD Plant3D is a plus.
