The Bay County Department of Water and Sewer is seeking resumes from qualified persons for the job classification of WWTP Operations Specialist at the Bay County Department of Water & Sewer’s West Bay County Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. This classification is a continuous alternating shift position that requires the performance of all duties necessary to operate the Wastewater Treatment Plant to produce an acceptable effluent discharge that is required by the NPDES permit.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications for this classification include possession of a High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or no less than one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful applicant will possess a valid Michigan Driver's License

Comments:
The starting wage for this classification is $21.32/hr. progressing to $24.87/hr. after 24 months. Fringe Benefits including Health Insurance. A full description of the requirements and responsibilities of this classification can be viewed at our website.
