PHYSICAL AND WORK REQUIREMENTS: May be required to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift a minimum of eighty (80) pounds. Job duties include running lab tests (BOD, pH, NH3, DO, solids, and collection of other samples for outside testing). Must be able to perform maintenance and minor repair of equipment. General knowledge of lift stations and distribution systems is preferred. May be required to assist with street and other distribution systems work as needed. Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time including water line maintenance and repairs, sewer line maintenance and repairs, mowing grass, tree cutting, snow plowing, building maintenance, and other similar tasks as necessary.



Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and the ability to obtain an Ohio Class B CDL within 18 months of hire. Must interact with all Village employees and the public in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Hold a Class II Ohio EPA license.



Comments:

SUPERVISION: All work is performed under the supervision of the Service Director and/or Chief Operator.

SHIFT: Two different shifts are available:

Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM
Friday-Monday 7AM-5PM
COMPENSATION: Starting pay is $18.00-$23.00 per hour, plus benefits.

Full pay range up to $26.24.
