We are currently seeking a self-motivated Senior Lead Accountant to join our team as a member of our amazing Finance & Accounting division. You're great at:

Accounting Functions

Partners with the Accounting Manager in a variety of complex functions such as: special projects, policy setting, and standardization of accounting practices and procedures across company.
Collaborates on month end close process, journal entries and financial reporting support.
Assists in maintaining internal control compliance across the organization in order to ensure an understanding of risk areas, as well as to identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance controls.


Support

Supports annual audit process by preparing schedules requested by auditors.
Provides technical guidance to employees.
Reviews the work of staff accountants while mentoring and developing their skill sets.

Qualifications:
What we would like to see from you:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
Five (5) years general accounting experience. Public and private experience preferred.
CPA highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting theory, current accounting issues, and accounting systems required.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio required;
Construction accounting experience a plus.
High attention to detail is required.
Ability to problem solve with little guidance from management.
Strong communication and presentation skills as you’ll be asked to participate regularly in executive meetings.
