Stantec's Cincinnati, OH office is seeking a full-time Data Analyst to assist with all aspects of data management associated with our Water group relevant to sanitary sewer collection systems and combined sewer overflows. In this role you will work as part of a dynamic team under the supervision of multiple project managers on various tasks. The work will primarily involve performing daily data review on a cloud server, analysis, comparing elevation calculations, data review and work order processing. This position may require some field work and the potential for some local and regional travel to meet project and client needs.

The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, a quick learner, able to engage in client meetings, and have a strong communication skills.

Your Key Responsibilities

Perform level and flow data review on cloud server.

Troubleshoot telemetry issues and other monitoring equipment issues.

Process work orders using an online work order system.

Perform flow calculations and data QAQC.

Coordinate with field crews and assign scheduling.

Attend review meetings and able to present results.

Basic use of ArcGIS and other similar software.

Assist in developing technical documents including reports, presentations, exhibits/figures, drawings, tables, etc.

Perform other duties as assigned by the senior engineering staff.


Qualifications:

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Basic understanding of wastewater collection sewer systems

Problem solving skills

Basic understanding of ArcGIS and mapping software

Ability to work with limited oversight

Attention to detail and good record keeping of reviews

Good written and verbal communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office and related tools

Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought

Ability to work and excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

A valid driver's license and good driving record are required

A pre-employment drug screen may also be required

Ability to obtain Confined Space Entry certification, FirstAid/CPR

Education and Experience

Associates or Vocational degree in engineering, environmental engineering, computer science or a related program

0-2 years of experience. Previous co-op/internship experience preferred.

ArcGIS or other mapping software experience

Previous experience with wastewater systems or data analysis preferred but not required

Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
