The Finance Manager provides specialized services in accounting, financial management and reporting for The Nature Conservancy’s Washington Business Unit (~$15M annual operating budget, 70 staff).
A senior Operations team member for the Washington Business Unit of The Nature Conservancy, the Finance Manager plays a lead role in providing finance, accounting and administrative services in support of conservation outcomes. Duties are highly confidential and require broad and comprehensive knowledge of The Nature Conservancy’s policies. Essential functions include:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 4 years' related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience using accounting and financial reporting systems.
• Experience with GAAP and accounting principles, practices and regulations.
