Electrical Engineering Associate I Exam

The Department of Public Utilities is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Electrical Engineering Associate I. To apply, one must first take the open-competitive examination. Applications may be submitted to the Civil Service Commission by applying online at www.csc.columbus.gov by 1/30/2019. Applicant tracking is now managed by NEOGOV. This position is responsible for performing ground level paraprofessional electrical engineering work. To qualify you must have completed the twelfth grade and one (1) year of experience assisting in the performance of paraprofessional electrical engineering work. Substitution(s): one (1) year of college education in electrical engineering or a related curriculum may be substituted for the required experience (30 semester/45 quarter credit hours equals one year). A GED will be accepted in lieu of the twelfth grade school requirement. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required. Salary range of $48,131 - $58,739.
