Details:
Outside sales position with established company serving the water and wastewater market in the state of Michigan. Role will include actively working with customers, consultants, manufacturers and contractors as well as learning a diverse, technical equipment portfolio. Day-to-day tasks include proposal writing, project management, and developing new sales opportunities. Mostly local travel with some training and conferences out of state. Competitive compensation, commission and benefits package based on qualifications and experience, with room to grow!

Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated to achieve and customer service oriented. This individual will possess:
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude and/or experience
- Eagerness to learn and ability to apply knowledge practically
- Ability to effectively balance multiple projects and work load demands simultaneously
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field, and/or equivalent career experience and education
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complicated technical jargon for the average person
- 5+ years of technical sales experience preferred
- Superior organizational skills and habits to allow for short term and long term strategizing
