You'll serve as our sole financial analyst and manage two hourly finance-related employees (A/P and Banking Coordinators). Position Summary:

Under direction from the VP of Finance and Administration, the Financial Analyst Manager oversees the timely and accurate analysis and reporting of highly complex disbursements to/from the organizations’ financial systems. The Financial Analyst Manager ensures the adherence to accounting methods and the development of financial policies and procedures while collaborating with stakeholders in Philanthropy, Strategy, Executive and Board Leadership. The position has supervisory oversight for a team of finance-related positions. Periodic travel to participate in meetings and training across Western Washington may occasionally be required.

Essential Functions

*Analyze financial data and understand all payment processors for the organization maintaining all system databases related to G/L transactions to include: Salesforce, Camp Minder, Druple, Wufoo, Pay Pal and other eWallets and third party payment processors.
*Perform supervisory responsibilities as outlined and keep VP updated with team status.
*Maintain accurate records of: fixed assets, depreciation, capital improvements and the general ledger to prepare and process monthly journal entries, year-end accruals and reconciliations for financial statements.
*Prepare income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements and other accounting documents and reports, as needed or requested.
*Ensure the integrity and accuracy of reconciliations in a variety of financial based systems (i.e; Sales Force, Camp Minder, E-Wallets, Avila).
*Process monthly close in various systems and prepare monthly activity uploads for MIP, Accounting System.
*Review, approve and maintain restricted revenue and receipt transactions to accurately report restricted fund balance and prepare monthly net assets release journal for restricted funds.
*In conjunction with VP Finance complete annual audit Net Assets schedule and assist in the preparation of annual council audit.
*Contributes to the development of the annual budget by forecasting payroll and benefits using Power Query and advanced Excel to extract necessary data.
*Prepare annual investment endowment spending calculation acting as primary contact for Investment Committee and preparing monthly investment activity journal entries and reconciliations.
*Act as subject matter expert for finance and accounting providing training and guidance to staff, and Board and other volunteers.
*Maintain up to date software system knowledge and create business cases for new initiatives or technologies to maximize financial reporting efficiencies.
*Actively participate in meetings and committees, including the Board’s Investment Committee and keep VP informed of status.
Travel across western Washington periodically to meet with staff and/or train as needed.
*Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position directly supervises employee(s). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Perform back-up support for direct reports in Accounts Payable and Volunteer Banking. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; coaching and monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Approval for time sheets, vacation requests and expenses of direct reports.

Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree and three or more years’ experience in a professional level finance, banking or accounting role supporting general ledger entries, budget forecasting and reporting; plus one or more years of supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA strongly preferred.
*Proficient in MS O365 and demonstrated expertise with financial payment processing systems including Power Query databases and advanced Excel including Pivot tables, H & V lookups. Ability to code macros strongly preferred. Donor Perfect or other fundraising software experience a plus.
*Ability to make good judgments and produce accurate work in a timely manner
*Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to positively resolve conflict
*Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral to ensure effective interactions with individuals at all levels and backgrounds
*Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines, work independently, take initiative and maintain confidentiality
*Willingness to demonstrate a commitment to support and enhance the diversity and cultural and global awareness of girls and staff
*Willingness and ability to travel to all regional offices within Western Washington on occasion
*Have and maintain a good driving record with the ability to operate in a constant state of alertness
*Satisfactory results from criminal background search
