Under general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for managing all aspects of corporate financial analysis, financial / management reporting, Asset Liability Management, and stress testing.

Provide management oversight of the budgeting and forecasting process.
Provide direct reports with proper tools and authority to execute their assigned functions. Identifies and develops new skills for assigned staff through goal-setting, coaching, problem resolution, delegation, training, counseling, and performance management.
Oversee the development and maintenance of interest rate risk models and ALCO reports.
Maintain long term plan financial model. Update the model periodically to reflect changing business assumptions, revenue and expense trends, and accounting changes.
Analyze the impact of new capital issues, share repurchase, and changes in business focus / strategy on risk based capital.
Develop financial models, forecasting the impact of new business proposals and / changes to corporate strategic direction.
Develop, maintain, and update organizational and customer profitability system. Develop reports detailing relative profitability and other statistics for branches, business units, products, loan officers, and customers.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining information systems necessary for proper gathering, measuring, distributing, and reporting management information.
Develop management reports for business unit managers providing insight into performance and performance trends. Document management reporting systems and data. Provide training and consultation to management reporting systems and users.
Develop and maintain acquisition valuation and pro forma models that project impact of target on future bank performance and capital as well as performing evaluations of third-party models.
Remain current on business combinations GAAP and target valuation trends.
Create presentations detailing the impact, rationale, and other issues associated with a potential acquisition. Actively participate in due diligence.
Works collaboratively with Management and Human Resources and recommends staffing levels and approves personnel actions such as hiring, terminations, promotions, transfers, training and development of staff, timely performance reviews and salary increases, in accordance with legal and acceptable Bank personnel practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or relevant course of study and MBA – required.
10 years’ recent relevant financial experience in multiple functional areas developing and implementing strategies that align with business goals, which includes a minimum of 5 years in a management and leadership role in a financial services industry – required.
Leadership experience in a financial services and community bank environment of at least $5 – 8 billion in assets – strongly preferred.
Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or CFA) – required.
Equivalent combination of education, certifications and/or relevant work experience may be considered.
Provides an exceptional level of quality service for internal/external customers; responds to customers' needs, questions and concerns in an accurate, effective, and timely manner.
Exhibits professional and effective listening, verbal, written and telephone etiquette business communication skills, including effective questioning strategies and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively, clearly and persuasively in a variety of settings, formats, and audiences across business lines at all levels; with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
Strong leadership and managerial skills are required to manage, motivate, and develop teams, to include oversight and management of employees in remote locations, to ensure transparency. Employee development, performance management, training and employee counseling skills required.
Demonstrated ability to ensure the development of a high-performing group by leading, inspiring and coaching a team of managers and professionals, and facilitates cooperation and motivates team members to accomplish individual and group goals.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage income and expense budget(s).
Strategic approach to decision-making with proven ability to analyze information, develop strategies and deliver results; demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with all business units to achieve common goals.
Thorough understanding and ability to interpret complex accounting literature and accounting pronouncements, regulations, practice, and theory, as well as ability to apply this knowledge to day-to-day activities.
Thoroughly understands and applies principles, procedures, compliance requirements, state/federal regulations, and policies related to assigned area of oversight.
Unquestionable integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information required.
Advanced use and understanding of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), and financial management data processing systems, with the ability to adapt to new products and technologies quickly. Experience in database management and reporting – strongly desired.
Strong working knowledge using Fiserv Prologue financial suite or similar ERP systems experience – preferred.
Travel is be required. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance,
