Overview


Responsible for managing the credit position of all wholesale fuel customers as well as conducting the credit analysis, review and ultimate recommendation for all wholesale fuel applicant's credit needs. Job duties may also include other financial analysis, forecasting and underwriting projects assigned by Treasury.





Responsibilities


Monitor wholesale portfolio purchase requests and credit availability.
Review billing and pay history, evaluate credit exposure and determine release (approval) or hold.
Must be able to strategize and negotiate alternative payments scenarios if applicable; ie prepayment, accelerated billing.
Balancing repayment risk with business objective, selling fuel. Credit Analysis.
Receive, review and analyze credit applicants received. Requires knowledge of financial statements and corporate tax filings.
Forecasting skills a must.
Ability to work with financial institutions required.
Ability to understand and translate corporate credit reports.
Recommendation of credit limits and repayment terms expected.
Resolve wholesale credit issues as they occur (normal course of business).
Work with Legal and accounting Teams on billing issues and collections items when necessary.
Assist in other financial projects as assigned by Treasury.








Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
Experience: 10+, Petroleum Credit Professional.
Thorough knowledge of the fuel credit industry.
Strong Analytical skills, both from a data and contractual standpoint.
Must be able to articulate and synthesis results for executive analysis and decision making.
High level of initiative and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a Team environment.
Experienced finance professional.
