Description
Tittabawassee Township is seeking applicants to fill the Director of Public Works position. The DPW Director manages a staff of 6 full-time employees and 5 part-time employees. An ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience and will be knowledgeable in a wide range of community services including but not limited to budgeting, water, sewer, storm water, street lighting cemetery management, fleet maintenance, asset management, capital project management etc.


Qualifications:
An Associate’s Degree or the equivalent in civil engineering, construction management, or a public works related field is highly desired. A minimum of five years progressively more experience, one of which should be in a supervisory/leadership capacity, is expected. Successful candidates should possess a Valid Michigan Driver’s license, a Michigan Wastewater Treatment Operators C license and either an S-2 Water license or the ability to obtain.
