General Summary:

The Campbell Soup Company is seeking a Waste Water Treatment Plant Manager for the Napoleon Ohio manufacturing facility. The Area Manager - Water/Waste Water Treatment (a.k.a. Operator in Responsible Charge/ ORC) is responsible for the oversight of the Waste Water Treatment operations, including reporting, process modification and upgrades, budgeting, and compliance assurance. This includes being the official operator of record. Must meet Ohio EPA license requirements for our plant classification which is currently a Class 4 facility. Applicant must hold the necessary Class 4 license. (Class 4 license is mandatory)

Primary Responsibilities:
o Filling out Ohio EPA Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs)
o Preparing sample schedules and reviewing internal and external lab results
o Working with Maintenance to schedule activities and order equipment
o Interface with OHIO EPA representatives to resolve issues and provide information
o Working with vendors for operating supplies and invoice resolution
o Conducting safety audits and evaluations
o Evaluating operations and working with engineering on plant upgrades
o Assist with budget management/creation
o Scheduling
Job Complexity:
o Evaluate laboratory results and plant operations and work with operators to minimize/eliminate permit exceedances and correct out-of-limit conditions
o Oversee studies to identify operating conditions and the effects of changes to operations
o Assist with evaluation of previous year expenditures and forecast next year to assist in developing annual operating budget
o Identify critical maintenance activities and schedule during plant shutdown/outages


Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
o High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering strongly preferred.
o 5-7 years of waste water experience required. 3-5 years of management experience preferred.
o Must meet Ohio EPA license requirements for our plant classification which is currently a Class 4 facility. Applicant must hold the necessary Class 4 license. (Class 4 license is mandatory)
