F&V Operations & Resource Management assists municipal clients providing water and wastewater utility operation services, as well as DPW operations. Working with the owner, we provide expert advice relating to collection, maintenance and asset management for public and private systems.

We are currently looking for a talented WATER OPERATIONS SPECIALIST to join our growing team in northeast Michigan.

Responsibilities:
Maintain treatment systems (piping, pumps, valves and tanks).
Prepare chemicals for treatment systems.
Operate and maintain instrumentation on treatment systems and meters (calibration, repair, troubleshooting).
Laboratory sampling and record keeping.
Prepare field reports.
Operate and maintain pumps including repair and troubleshooting.
General maintenance of vehicles, work area and equipment.


Qualifications:
Qualifications:

At least 1 year of relevant water treatment experience.
Possession of a Class F4 or above Michigan Drinking Water Certification.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Team player who is willing to pitch in.
Valid Michigan driver’s license.
Water / sewer experience desirable, DEQ certification a plus.
