Mixing Systems, Inc. is growing our team! We’re a family owned business, founded in 1985, that’s looking to bring on a star player who can help take us forward for the next phase of our company’s history.

What we do:
Mixing Systems, Inc. (www.mixing.com) custom designs and manufactures jet aeration and jet mixing systems for some of the largest industrial companies – think BP, Bacardi, and Frito Lay – and municipalities in the world! Most of our work is focused on wastewater treatment processes, though we also work on other mixing applications where our technology can be beneficial.

The role:
- Be intimately involved with all aspects of our company operations by wearing many hats, from visiting suppliers to assisting at start-ups
- Train and work under the direction of our technical founder to design and engineer jet aeration and jet mixing systems, our industry specialty
- Prepare drawings for proposals and technical submittals
- Run analyses of mixing performance for client projects and R&D purposes
- Help keep our online presence up-to-date, i.e., updating our web content
- Perform other general office and administrative tasks as necessary


Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineering related field
- Interest in becoming a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Commitment to excellence
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Trustworthy and dependable
- Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision
- Interest in being part of our long-term strategy and growth; this isn’t an everyday hiring opportunity

Preferred qualifications:
- Some experience working in the wastewater industry and/or familiarity with how wastewater is treated
- AutoCAD drafting skills
- Fluid modeling skills and or interest in learning our computational fluid dynamics program
