What We’re Looking For

BWSC is currently seeking to fill the position Project Manager responsible for business development and management of various midsized water services projects while maintaining BWSC’s PM procedures, business goals, and objectives. Time is spent identifying project opportunities leading to project wins, developing and managing projects, leading project post-mortem reviews, as well as, executing administrative pieces defined in each contract. This role is expected establish and build a positive client relationship while also being able to provide technical leadership on projects.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others.
• Working with office leadership executing proper PM procedures.
• Develops contracts including subcontracts to comply with BWSC terms.
• Prepares comprehensive Project Management Plans.
• Ensures Quality Program implementation and execution.
• Reviews project reports and findings. Makes modifications to project as needed.
• Provides technical guidance and resolves project problems.
• Acts as primary agent between client and project team coordinating events, leading client meetings & internal project meetings, and delivery of final project to client.
• On occasion may function as a technical lead on projects.
• May attend various leadership meetings.
• Leadership and effective application of processes and procedures that drive financial metrics and quality expectations of mid-sized and less conventional projects.

• Performs other duties as requested.


Qualifications:

Education/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from accredited program. Minimum of 10 years’ experience. PE registration.
• Attend and participate in PM training programs.


Comments:

• Walk, sit, and stand. Occasionally reach with hands, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Occasionally climb 25-30 feet. Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. Visual acuity sufficient to read alpha/ numeric symbols for computation and design.
• Ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively to project issues that arise.
• Some travel (50%).
