Details:

Assists in the planning & administering of the Water Pollution Control facilities, Black River and PQM Waste Water Treatment Plants, including pumping stations & collections systems, monitoring of sewers and streams etc. Administers pre-treatment, sanitary sewer overflow, Capacity management & pollutant minimization programs; Assist with storm water pollution prevention plan & employee training for licensure & contact hours. Assists Water Pollution Control superintendents and Sewer Collections System superintendent in administering their facilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university majoring in a science, engineering, or technical background with two years experience; Two to five years work experience in wastewater operations, laboratory, maintenance above general labor or collections. In lieu of above qualifications, an applicant may be considered if after review of the applicant's experience and knowledge, the applicant is found to possess the qualities needed to successfully carry out all the duties of the position.



Comments:

Must possess valid Ohio driver's license; Ohio EPA Class III Wastewater certificate or OWEA Industrial Pretreatment Inspector Certification; or attainment within 5 years of above mentioned certificates.
