|Details:||The Ohio Water Environment Association (OWEA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is seeking an Executive Administrator in its Columbus, OH headquarters. OWEA is a professional organization representing Ohio wastewater professionals. With over 2000 members and an annual budget of over $500K, Ohio is consistently one of the largest wastewater member associations (MAs) in the country. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: office administration and management, supervision of other OWEA employees, maintaining financial records, tracking revenues and expenses, paying bills, handling correspondence, and taking a lead role in planning conferences and workshops and coordinating with the Water Environment Association (WEF). The Executive Administrator will report to the Association President and Executive Committee.|
Candidates must have an Associate Degree or higher with 5 years of experience in a similar role / organization. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and excellent communication skills required. Experience with the water and wastewater industry and in event planning is a plus. Candidates must be able to commute to the OWEA office in Columbus, OH, have a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel on occasion throughout the state of Ohio and occasionally out of state. Salary commiserate with level of experience.
