The City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Sewer Maintenance Worker. To apply, you must first take the open competitive examination. Applications must be submitted to the Civil Service Commission by applying on-line at www.csc.columbus.gov by 09/26/2017. Applicant Tracking is now managed by NEOGOV. If you do not already have a profile in NEOGOV, you will have to set up a new one in NEOGOV before you can submit an application.

Qualifications:

This position is responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing the City’s sewer system and assisting in the cleaning and video inspection of the City’s sewer system. To qualify you must have One (1) year of construction and/or sewer maintenance work including some experience with mixing, laying, and finishing cement or masonry work. By the completion of the probationary period, you must possess a valid, Class A, commercial motor vehicle operator's license allowing operation of vehicles with air brakes, which may require the following endorsements for some positions: Tanker (N). Salary $40,414 - $54,496.
