SEMCOG currently has an opening for a qualified, energetic career professional interested in performing challenging work in an open, collaborative environment. The individual must be able to work both independently and collaboratively.

SEMCOG seeks a civil engineer, planner or other degreed individual with a minimum of five years experience in infrastructure planning and asset management, to assist with developing an integrated infrastructure management system The selected candidate will have a strong working knowledge of asset management, and experience in underground infrastructure issues, including water, wastewater, and stormwater. The individual will represent SEMCOG with other state and regional activities regarding water and wastewater planning.


Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in infrastructure planning and asset management. The candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact and work with a range of external stakeholders such as federal, state, county, and local agencies, including administration of meetings and creating presentation materials. The candidate must have good organization and time management skills, and be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively with internal staff. Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills required, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
