The City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Student Intern II for the Division of Water. The flexible work schedule is 12 - 32 hours per week and is based around the Student's school schedule. The work location is at our Watershed facility located next to the Hoover Reservoir in Westerville. This position is responsible for assisting with projects that will reduce pollutants in our raw water supply reservoirs. Other projects include: generation of a GIS-based inventory and mapping of reservoir assets and invasive plant management.
To qualify you must be actively enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or associate degree program in college, university, or technical school. Preference will be given to students majoring in, Biology and Environmental Sciences. This position requires a Driver’s License. Salary: $13.28 per hour.
