Your Challenge
This position leverages a superb understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and Accounting in support of implementing new ERP functionality and continuous improvements to existing functionality. This position is responsible for implementation of accounting requirements, testing, training, and assistance with business process design for Accounting.


Your Responsibilities
-Liaison between ERP Team and Accounting Dept.
-Lead/facilitate business requirement, process, and reporting design for Accounting.
-Develop improved processes to facilitate faster period close.
-Analyze Accounting related business problems, requested changes, and required modifications to develop appropriate solutions.
-Perform initial validation of system design and new/updated reports.
-Translate requirements documentation into UAT (user acceptance training)/functional test plans, and ensure that proper testing of all Accounting functionality is completed and accepted by Accounting.
-Coordinate and collaborate with Accounting, ERP Team and other department staff to find solutions to problems identified in system design and testing.
-Encourage best business process practices relative to Enterprise -Resource Planning systems.
-Facilitate implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning system modules, processes and solutions.
-Facilitate training on Enterprise Resource Planning system modules, processes and solutions.
-Create work instructions for Accounting
-Perform other duties as required to support both the enterprise resource planning system and the business.

Qualifications:
Your Qualifications
-In depth accounting transaction, project based accounting, job costing, percent complete revenue recognition, and inventory knowledge
-Superb understanding of enterprise resource planning systems
-Excellent analytical, technical, problem solving skills
-Proven understanding of accounting, manufacturing and operational processes
-Experience implementing and training on new systems
-Strong communication skills
-Track record of influencing and leading teams
-Ability to obtain quality results through team work
-Strong MS Office skills
-Experience with Epicor ERP desirable but not required
-An insatiable desire to learn more


Your Education and Experience
-BS/BA degree or higher in Accounting, or Business
-GL and cost accounting experience in a project based manufacturing environment
-ERP implementation experience
