| Title: | Director of Engineering | | Details: | I am conducting a search for an equity-backed, early stage venture that is deploying new technology that will radically change how water is treated to remove heavy metal ions in industrial and consumer applications. The key material in the treatment solution is a newly developed adsorptive media that rapidly removes mercury and arsenic from industrial water streams enabling faster, more cost effective, and more environmentally friendly treatment over existing approaches including those utilizing activated charcoal. The company has exclusive rights to this patented technology, and is actively working to bring its first commercial application online. | | Qualifications: | First and foremost, we are looking for an individual with strong business acumen to lead this important design work, and in so doing, build the long-term design engineering capabilities of the company. The most desirable candidates will have expertise in process engineering, preferably in water treatment processes. They will have project management or management-level experience managing a design team. Additionally, they will demonstrate strategic aptitude to address the long-term needs of the business, leadership qualities in seizing opportunities and addressing tough challenges, and management skills in building an efficient team.
