| Title: | WATER TREATMENT SUPERINTENDENT | | Details: | Troubleshoot operational problems and taking responsible action to correct problems. Ensure work is carried out safely and accurately and within required time frames. Supervise, assist and monitor water operation decisions, review daily logs and assure appropriate tests are performed, respond to and resolve customer complaints, read prints, prepare reports, specifications, participate in annual budgets. Schedule and supervise the repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities including preventive, corrective, and emergency tasks. Supervise contract labor in the repair, maintenance, installation and calibration of equipment. Train subordinate employees in the proper operation of equipment, treatment systems, safety practices, and Departmental procedures. May be required to lift up to one hundred (100) pounds. | | Qualifications: | High School diploma or G.E.D. plus five years experience in water field is required. Must have an Ohio Class II Water Operator License. Supervisory experience desirable.
