Do you work with collection systems? Are you interested in meeting and working with others to advance the profession? The FWEA Collection Systems Committee welcomes new members to participate on one of the most active committees in the FWEA. Last year we produced a well received and successful seminar, workshop and PACP training program, among other activities. The more active members we have the more we can accomplish!

If you are interested, please attend the annual meeting of the Collection Systems Committee at the Water Resources Conference in West Palm Beach. The meeting will be held from 4:00 to 5:30 on Sunday evening in Room 1G of the Convention Center.

As one of this year’s activities, the Collection System Committee is hosting an FWRC Workshop “CLOGs and FROGs in Collection Systems- Challenges, Tools, and Counter Measures” on Tuesday morning, April 25th, beginning at 8:00. We will be featuring speakers from WEF, Chemsearch, WASD, and the Wipes Industry (INDA)! The topics will include Wastewater Initiatives on Flushable Wipes, Public Outreach, F.R.O.G- Problems and Solutions, and Flushable Wipes: Your Solution, NOT your problem. We hope you can attend this timely session.

We look forward to seeing you at these events!
