The Bay County Department of Water & Sewer is seeking resumes from qualified persons for the job classification of WTP Operations Specialist at the Bay Area Water Treatment Plant. This classification is a continuous alternating shift position that requires the performance of all duties necessary to operate a membrane water treatment plant including laboratory functions to ensure that the plant is producing potable water that achieves all target quality standards.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications for this position include possession of a High School diploma or general education degree (GED); possession of a Michigan Department of Environmental Quality F-4 Water Treatment Operator certification at time of hire, and experience in a membrane water plant. The successful applicant will possess a valid Michigan Driver's License.

Comments:
The starting wage for this position is $20.90/hr. progressing to $24.38/hr. after 24 months. Fringe Benefits including Health Insurance.
