The Department of Public Utilities is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Plant Maintenance Mechanic. To apply, one must first take the open competitive examination. Applications must be submitted to the Civil Service Commission by applying on-line at www.csc.columbus.gov 1/23-2/13/17. Position is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing and removing industrial mechanical equipment. Salary $44,054.40 -$60,798.40/yr. Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications: Completion of the twelfth school grade/GED and two years of experience assisting in the installation, maintenance, repair and/or removal of industrial mechanical equipment. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operators license is also required.
