The Village of Ada is currently accepting applications for the full time position of Wastewater Treatment Operator. Under direction, the successful candidate will operate and monitor the Wastewater Treatment Plant and related facilities, perform and record tests to analyze wastewater content and perform routine maintenance on equipment, building and grounds.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must possess a valid Ohio EPA Class I or Class II Wastewater license or have the ability to obtain an operator-in-training status issued by Ohio EPA within 18 months of hire. Completion of secondary education or equivalent and a valid Ohio driver’s license is required. Applicants may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Comments:
The Village of Ada Wastewater Treatment Plant is a Class III new facility utilizing new technologies and processes capable of processing up to eight (8) mgd flows.
Recommended starting salary range, dependent on certifications and experience, is $28,691- $40,158 with a comprehensive benefits package.
