This program is designed for decision makers such as Library Managers and Directors who may be interested in creating or updating a plan, as well as any employee who wants to become more aware of safety related issues within each and every library.
Presenter: Patrick Jolly, has been in Facilities with the Geauga County Public Library for 25 years, and in 2015 was named Facilities Manager for the 5 building library system. Patrick has spent over 20 years helping ensure workplace safety of staff in various ways. Most recently, he has researched and re-created the "Workplace Safety Program" for GCPL, making it relevant to public library employees while being compliant to regulations as outlined by Ohio Public Employee Risk Reduction Program (OPPERP). He wants to help library staff realize that this topic is important, even within the safe confines of a non-industrial setting like a library.
