Tech Challenge presented by Colleen Kelly and Beth Hatch

Would you like to find a fun way to challenge and motivate your staff to engage with Web 2.0 and other new technology?  Find out how the Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library got 91% of their staff to participate in their Tech Challenge 2014.  They used the Badge OS plug-in with their Wordpress  Intranet to challenge their staff in 40 different activities in a competition format.  What they started with was an idea of how to get staff involved.  What they got was a whole lot more!  If you don’t have an Intranet, don’t worry.  Beth and Colleen will show you other ways that you can implement this program with your staff.

Educational Turtoring and Job Tools
Gaianni Lecciso of Brainfuse will briefly show the services available for tutoring and job placement through their great services.

Growing in Technology Presented by Polly Reynolds
Polly will talk about how the Hudson library grew their services from basic to innovative (including Google Galss and 3D Printing) and how to develop (or expand) your library's tech classes, take advantage of staff strenghts and find resources to enhance and develop your own technology skills.

Emerging Tech Lab presented by Holly Klingler
