Full/CE Member Cost: $40
This Book Look Plus will focus on Readers’ Advisory for children’s staff and those that are called upon to help out in Children’s periodically. This session will include the readers’ advisory interview and how to assist patrons with their needs. Learn what tools are available to assist you with readers’ advisory and discover popular titles. Be able to answer questions like my son read all the Horrible Harry books what do you recommend to my daughter just lost her grandparent do you have any books that cover this topic.In addition, you will hear about the latest trends in children’s literature.
The day will also include time to browse the newest children’s and young adult literature. In addition, each participant will leave with one free book and there will be other prizes to win! You won’t want to miss this!
